Quickstart

Send your first transfer: connect a wallet, quote, sign.

Before you start

• A Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
• The stablecoin you want to send, USDC or EURC, in that wallet.
• A little SOL for network fees and account rent. About 0.02 SOL covers a send.

Send your first transfer

1. Open the app and select Connect wallet. Choose your wallet and approve the connection.
2. Approve the sign-in message in your wallet. It's a signature, not a transaction: it moves nothing.
3. Enter an amount under You send and choose the two currencies. The reading under the rule updates as you type.
4. Paste the recipient's Solana wallet address, or select My wallet to convert into your own wallet.
5. Select Get a quote. Ferry reads the latest signed Pyth price and shows the exact amount the recipient receives.
6. Select Sign and send and approve in your wallet. The steps on the slip end at Finalized.

After you send

The payment is final once Solana finalizes the transaction, about 13 seconds after it lands. Activity lists it with a link to the transaction, and the recipient sees the token in their wallet.

Amounts above $10,000 go through the fixing lane instead of paying at once. The slip says so before you sign, and Send a large transfer walks through it.
