Cancel or reclaim an order

Take a queued order back before its fixing, or after its window.

Cancel before the fixing

  1. Open Activity. Open orders are listed under Waiting for a fixing, each with a scale counting down to its fixing.
  2. Select Cancel and refund on the order and approve the transaction.
  3. The escrow returns to your wallet in that transaction, and the order moves to History as Returned.

Cancellation closes at the fixing time: from then on the order belongs to the fixing.

Reclaim after the window

Ferry's keeper settles each fixing shortly after it. If a cohort isn't settled within 5 minutes of its fixing, the keeper returns the escrow to the wallet that placed each order, and the button on your order becomes Reclaim so you can do it yourself without waiting. Select it and approve.

Between the fixing and the end of that window, the button reads Settling: the order is waiting for the keeper.

A queued order. Before its fixing you can cancel it. The keeper settles it after the fixing; if it isn't settled within 5 minutes, the keeper returns the escrow to you, or you reclaim it.
